Founder & President
DAN ANGELESCO
Dan’s lifelong passion for drawing led him to pursue a degree in architecture with an emphasis in construction management from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. After graduating, he joined an architectural firm as a designer and project manager, but as his career progressed he found himself drawn to creating physical spaces and environments.
Dan entered the construction industry as a project manager, and a few years later he was working for DPR, one of the nation’s largest general contracting companies. He managed ground-up and tenant improvement projects for clients such as Amazon, LinkedIn and Google. His construction teams completed more than $250 million worth of projects before Dan moved to Reno to work on Tahoe Beach Club for Devcon Construction.
Founding DA Builders was a natural evolution in Dan’s career. He leverages two decades of large-project expertise in both the public and private sectors to bring clients, developers and owners unmatched value throughout all stages of the design and construction processes. Dan is involved in all aspects of a project, including design, preconstruction planning, estimating, permitting, and construction management.
Dan is a breakfast burrito aficionado – ask him where to find the best in town. When he’s not working on clients’ projects, Dan is an avid outdoors enthusiast and enjoys mountain biking, road cycling, backcountry skiing and whitewater rafting.
“The strongest projects are ones that use a collaborative team approach that have all parties working toward a mutual goal. One team, one goal.”
